  • Does anxiety hold you back in personal or professional situations? It is a natural desire to want to lean away from the cause of anxiety. However, together we can work towards using a variety of therapeutic approaches to understand its underlying cause and find effective ways to alleviate it, improving your overall quality of life.

  • If you have experienced trauma that you feel hadn’t been fully processed and is negatively impacting you , please reach out. Trauma can manifest in a variety of different ways including a diminished sense of safety, overwhelming emotions, difficulty regulating those emotions, or challenges in your relationships with others.

If you are unsure if you have experienced trauma, consider booking an assessment session so we can explore it together and discuss ways in which we can address it.

  • Whether you’re dealing with dynamics in relationships with a parent, child, friend, or intimate partner, everyone faces unique difficulties. • Therapy with children is a specialised form of counseling that focuses on helping young clients navigate emotional, behavioural, or developmental challenges. It involves creating a safe, supportive environment where children can express their feelings, process experiences, and develop coping skills.

Key features of therapy with children include:

    • Age-Appropriate Approaches

Therapists often use tools like play, art, storytelling, or role-playing to help children communicate, as they may struggle to articulate their thoughts and emotions verbally.

    • Focus on Developmental Stages

Therapy is tailored to the child’s age, maturity level, and cognitive abilities, taking into account how these factors influence their behavior and understanding of the world.

    • Collaborative Family Involvement

In many cases, therapy includes or involves parents, caregivers, or siblings to ensure the child feels supported and that the family system is aligned in promoting their well-being.

    • Building Emotional Regulation

Therapists often teach children how to identify and manage emotions, fostering resilience and better interpersonal skills.

    • Addressing Specific Issues

Whether addressing trauma, anxiety, ADHD, affects from divorce or other concerns, therapy focuses on helping the child understand their experiences and develop tools to cope.
